January 27, 2005

Currently, you are sitting in your high chair drawing with crayons and listening to Sesame Street songs. Last week you started walking more than a few steps, just days before the Pediatrician said he would start physical therapy. You seem to do that with all of your gross motor milestones. Today has been an eventful day. This morning I left you on the bed while I got up to pee, and in the meantime you fell out of the bed. You were shaken up but unharmed. Then while I took a shower you started crying and calling my name, so I hopped out (I was a little on edge still from the bed incident) and came out in the living room. You looked at me, put on your sunglasses, and said "Movie star!" with a big grin on your face. Very funny and cute!

Unlike your gross motor skills, you have a huge vocabulary. I can't even count how many words you know. You have some flash cards you like to take in and out of the box. For kicks the other day, I went through them to see how many you know. You got 21 out of 30!
